Will I need to rent a car?
All of your transportation, including rides to and from shooting locations, and the Airport/Ferry on either end of the trip are covered.

What is the sleeping arrangement?
Comfortable shared room with one other photographer in lodge.
​
How far will I have to hike?
Shoot locations can be up to a 30 minute walk away from parking. Terrrain may be uneven, so bring good shoes.
We bring plenty of water and snacks and plan for frequent rest stops. ​

Book your flight into Kona International Airport (KOA).
Please plan on arriving no later than 1pm on the first day and departing after 2pm on the last.

Costa Rica
​
Book your flight to SJO and out of LIO
(Puerto Limon).
Please plan on arriving no later than 1pm on the first day and departing after 1pm on the last.

Note: Flying in from some cities may require you to arrive the night before
How many hours of shooting time should I expect?
Expect at least 4-5 hours of shooting time
per day.

What is included?
​
Lodging, transportation, all of the model fees, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, water and wine or beer the last night are all included. Your flight expense is not included.

Do I need insurance?
​
We do recommend you get your own travel insurance. We have our own event insurance.
